Sunrise Casita del Mar

The Casita was delightful. Immaculately clean when we arrived, peaceful throughout our stay. Our time on Lanzarote was made better by staying here. To add to what others have written, the layout of the space was great: Large entrance area, then up a few steps to 2 bedrooms and half bath. Turn in one direction and up a few more steps to the kitchen/dining/living room with balcony and main bathroom. Or continue up the staircase at the main entryway to come outside onto the enormous terrace, which is divided into two sections. First, a covered section with a large dining area and lounging couch and a terrace facing the mountains. Second, the uncovered area with views out to the ocean.

Lovely comfortable property in an excellent, quiet location right by the sea. The owner, Anne, was very communicative and sent on lots of information and tips for restaurants etc.

A clean, airy and spacious house with a very comfortable bed, loads of towels and hot water, the absolute prerequisites for me to be happy on holiday! Anna and Paul sent plenty of information so we got to the house very easily and found our way around Punta Mujeres and Arrieta from Anna’s tips. It was lovely to arrive to find a good bottle of wine and olives so we could relax when we arrived, the basics in the kitchen helped too. Being so close to one of the natural sea water pools was a great bonus, it was very quiet while we were there so we had the pool to ourselves a lot of the time we were there.

I like to cook on holiday and I never expect to find a great kitchen on holiday so I bought a knife sharpener and worked around the pan selection to get the best out of them. The front door lock is temperamental so don’t be put off by it - give it a wiggle and pull the door towards you to open it

We liked the style of the home, the sea view, the terrace is a very nice plus. Private parking is a plus also.

No dishwasher so a bit complicated with kids but the kitchen is small so I don’t really see where they could have installed a dishwasher

Quiet place right next to the ocean, close to a very good restaurant, bathing pools and attractions in the north. We loved the design of the apartment and the upper terrace.

Seaview and sunset view over mountains/volcanos. The house is very cozy and full of different stuff even 2 bikes. 10 meters to the ocean shore. We swam each day. The distance to the sandy beach - 2 minutes by car. Communication with the host is perfect. We got excellent help from the host about the orientation and the hospital. Very special and nice place. We will visit the Lanzarote again and we will stay in the same place.
