Bennet House

The location, the comfort and the ease of parking in the road outside.

The only slight criticism would be the older members would have liked some handholds in the bathroom - particularly the shower..

Bennet House is perfectly located & street parking easy. It’s a beautiful, comfortable space with all amenities. Including a lovely court yard garden.

We loved it all

The living space was great for our group of 6 with kitchen, living area and dining all combined. The view from the living area and two of the bedrooms upstairs was lovely. The beds were comfortable and it was just a short walk into the centre of Arundel, with the cathedral just at the top of the street. The decor was soothing and the property felt very well maintained. The communication from the host came in good time before arrival and it was easy to pick up the keys from the key safe outside. We parked about 100m away from the house in the road which was straightforward. There was a good proportion of bathrooms to bedrooms with one bedroom and bathroom on the 2nd floor, three bedrooms and a bathroom on the first floor and a ground floor toilet. We used our Netflix account to watch a movie on the good sized tv. The town itself was really pleasant to walk around with some charming shops and good restaurants - we enjoyed the Italian restaurant and the motte and Bailey cafe.

There was nothing we didn’t like about the property but a water jug and perhaps one or two more comfy chairs for when we were watching films would have been welcome.

Great location in centre of Arundel with everything in walking distance. Stylish home, with lovely open plan living space.

Parking was a little tricky on a very steep, narrow street. The house was a little cold when we arrived but it soon warmed up when we got the heating working.

Top floor shower wasn’t very powerful at all But still usable :)

The house is beautifully decorated and the kitchen thoroughly well-equipped; each of the bedrooms has super comfortable beds and the linen and towels are all excellent. The little garden is a great bonus, although it is a sun-trap so in the unusually hot weather (for England) is best in later afternoon or the evening. We were sympathetically helped when I "lost" my sunglasses after we had left the keys on the kitchen counter on departure.

The front step wobbles and needs cementing in place. There is no shaving mirror in either bathroom. The front small bedroom window frame (inside) was dirty, and we found glass shards beneath the TV and in the dustpan from a previous breakage.

Beautifully decorated and comfortable house. Full of light.

The home was a little expensive for a family. Less so if 8 friends are sharing and splitting the costs.

The house is beautifully appointed, comfy beds and pillows, good quality towels. Plentiful seating indoor and out. An excellent array of crockery and serving dishes/baking dishes/chopping boards. Easy parking in the street very nearby the property. The host responded very quickly to messages (before our stay) and very kindly let us extend our check out on Sunday morning. This really is an amazing house :)

I had read about an issue with the shower in another review, and this problem still occurs unfortunately - you can only get water supply to one shower at a time / kitchen sink at a time, but because we had read that this happens before out stay, it wasn't a problem and didn't effect our stay.
