"I’d definitely recommend staying here. There is a hot tub and forepit and plenty of room outside to enjoy the great out"

7.0

Property was very nice and easy check-in. The owner left some drinks in the fridge which was appreciated. Everything you needed to cook was available. The main bedroom was downstairs and the others you needed to climb a ladder to get to. As an adult the bed upstairs was good for me (not just kids need to stay there). Just be aware you need to go downstairs to use bathroom. The bathroom is a great size. Parking is right on the property. We saw some elk at a gas station not far away.

Just an observation that the place can feel a tad cluttered. We were only there for one night so maybe someone staying a week would have a much different view as they needed everything there.

"Great location, easy booking."

9.0

The proximity of the bunkhouse to the SW corner of Mt Rainier was perfect. And the massage chair was a great bonus after hiking all day as well. There was a hot tub too, but we did not use it. There were fresh coffee beans in the fridge for us to use too, which was nice with getting up early to hike!

The stairs to the loft are tricky for sure. And the counter space in the kitchen for cooking is limited, but we made do.

Nice kitchen and bathroom

In the Booking description, there was no mention of the bunks being in the attic… and ladder was not safe.

"Blackberry Bunkhouse: Nice but a bit cramped for two people"

7.0

The bunkhouse was in a great location, quiet, and in many aspects quite comfortable. The yard was nice and the cleanliness was good, and generally the facilitie were excellent. We loved the massage chair!

The bunkhouse was small and fairly cramped for only two people. There was little space for an opened suitcase or dry groceries. We didn't like that a load of laundry required 16 quarters for payment to wash and dry, and we felt nickled-and-dimed (or quartered!). There is a change machine but with only a $10 bill, we would receive 40 quarters, and we felt that instead, the laundry should be just included in the rental.

"Good base camp for adventures at Mt. Rainier."

9.0

Great location, convenient to visit Mt. Rainier NP. Cabin was well stocked with toiletries & supplies. The place was very clean. The neighborhood was quiet.

The attic stairway is a pull-down ladder. It's a challenge for older people. Difficult to safely hoist luggage. And - there's no protection at the top - it's an open hole in the floor. We couldn't get the ceiling light over the kitchen area on - perhaps a burnt out bulb?

"Close to Rainier with all the amenities you’ll need!"

10.0

We loved how close it was to the park entrance. We got up very early to catch the sunrise and reflection of Rainier and it wasn’t a long drive to reach it. The cherries on the property were ripe and we were told to enjoy them. We did! The place was plenty big for the five of us and our suitcases.

Nothing about the property. The grocery and food selection was a bit limited right around where we stayed.
