Big Fish - Charles St South

We picked the Big Fish for our stay in Belfast because we wanted to stay somewhere central and that had enough room for our family of five to stretch out between tours and visits. Communication with Chris was excellent from the outset, and we received multiple helpful notes before our stay and there was a video tour so we knew what the house would be like. Chris met us at the house on arrival and provided a full and very helpful introduction to the house and the area. The house was clean and comfortable for the two nights we were there. Chris even provided a litre of milk and, unlike many places we stayed at during our two weeks, there was a French press coffee maker to fire up our morning caffeine buzz. It was a short walk from the downtown area, which is exactly what we were looking for. We had parking out front of the house on both days. Chris noted that spots are usually available later in the day, around 1600-1700 hrs. This was very convenient and avoided us having to pay for parking one street over.

Our trip coincided with beautiful, sunny, and warm weather - unusual for Ireland, as the locals told us - which meant that the house was very warm and hot in the bedrooms upstairs despite there being fans in every room.

Excellent location. Very helpful and friendly host. Practical help on baggage hold etc very much appreciated.

Just needs an extension lead in the single bedroom so the bedside lamp can be used.

great house for families, has everything you need. Friendly hosts provided all info needed. Great location, easy walk in to the centre or the botanic area which had some fantastic food options

Chris & Allan the hosts were excellent 👍 Helped with any questions and replied very fast. Chris met us on arrival to Belfast for the tour around the property & tips on the local area. The property itself is an amazing base for a trip to explore what Belfast has got too offer. 5/10mins walk to the middle of city. Perfectly kept home with 3 excellent bedrooms. All beds and furnishings were perfect.

It was in a really good location and not far from the city centre. It was very clean and tidy. I would recommend this to anyone who is travelling in a group to book this accommodation.
