Beautiful large victorian waterfront house

Good location and large house with plenty of space.

The cleanliness of the property was not up to standard especially the bathroom, For instance the sink and bath not clean and the bin had not been emptied and contained used sanitary products and the toilet seat was broken. Blinds dirty and some blinds broken or ill fitting on the window, used milk left in the fridge. Bedroom window would not open posing a fire risk. Wine glasses had lipstick marks around some of them. Lounge sofas uncomfortable. We informed the owner of some of these concerns whilst at the property and he did respond initially stating that he took our complaint seriously and he would look into it but there has been no further correspondence from him up to writing this review post stay. Upon reading some previous reviews posted it seems other people have encountered these same problems with the cleanliness and the communication with the owner.

Great location. We made good use of the garden, kitchen, oven and laundry washer.

The weather was unusually hot while we were there but the property didn't have any fans to improve circulation to cool the room down for sleeping at night. Some rooms couldn't get any breeze through.
