Great location for walks and travelling round island by car. Homely. Also a lot of equipment for anyone who wants to cater for themselves. Great for a couple or with young kids.

We had unusually cold weather and the heater wasn’t enough. Not a complaint though.

Very comfortable beds. The house is so unique and so interesting! Me and my family was walking in the house and just watch that interesting equipment. It has big garden, parking area... two comfortable bedrooms. The house is beautiful - I love the space and small balcony. Perfect!

Water pressure in the shower was not the best and we had to wait for hot water - so if 2 persons took a shower next person had to wait for a while...

We enjoyed the garden although the chairs were antique. The Kitchen was well equipped, the shower modern. The car was inside the site.

It was too hot in october, especially upstairs. The house was filled like a museum.

The house is just so lovely and spacious, there is all you could wish for. A well equipped kitchen, outdoor grill, oven, microwave and so many options to have our meals. We usually enjoyed breakfast outside in the garden and dinner in the lodgia where we could open the big doors and let fresh air in but still be covered by the roof. We had an amazing view towards the ocean with the most fascinating sunsets. The garden was an absolute bonus, good to relax after a hike or have some training sessions in the green. While a car is necessary to get to the house and to sights across Madeira, we could reach the next supermarket within 3 minute walking and the next restaurant (very good pizzeria) within 5 min walking distance. Tania welcomed us so nicely and we even got to try Madeira wine and fresh oranges. We loved our stay and can highly recommend staying there!

A lovely house with vintage furniture and a beautiful view of the ocean. The owner is a really friendly, helpful lady.

We loved a garden, a barbecue place and a big lot of artefacts and old pretty things. There are many places for relaxing and enjoying holidays. The owner was super nice.

The floor in bedrooms were wooden so that it made sounds when walking.

it is an amazin place to stay. beautifully furnished with an amazing collection of local and historical items such as adding machines, scales, typewriters and stoves. our host was wonderful and explained the shortcut to the local supermarket just 2 minutes walk away. loved the various seating areas …..the garden, the two rooftop areas and the undercover seating by the door in case of rain.

The address on booking.com is correct BUT BE WARNED. Do NOT follow the booking.com navigate to property as this takes you to a field about 2km away. instead copy and paste the address from booking.com into Google and it will take you directly there. Access to the main bedroom is up the stairs and through the second bedroom. Could be difficult with small children as no door to stop them using the steep stairs on their own.
