Holiday Home In Cardiff. Sleeps 6

Decent size property, good quality furniture and fairly comfy beds. En suite shower was superb. Location was ideal for the requirements of my company and the reasons for our stay.

Property could (and should) be cleaner. Outside of the windows had obviously not been cleaned in months. Top of cooker hood covered in dust and debris, which makes you look closer at everything else. Seemed to be a shortage of cooking utensils - no cheese grater, one large sharp knife, one small one. Host visited on our first night, and came across as quite rude. We had parked our rental car in the wrong place and decided it would be a good idea to frog march me up the road to show me where it should have been parked. Not an ideal first impression to be fair. Back garden untidy with lots of old cigarette butts, some horrid jar with water being used as an ash tray. No garden furniture at all. No clothes pegs if I'd have wanted to dry my washing outside.

Modern property with a decent kitchen, and neutrally decorated. En-suite shower was excellent. Location was good for what was required, right opposite Cardiff City Stadium.

At first glance the property appeared very clean, but didn't take long to find improvements that are required. Cooker hood - not cleaned for weeks at least. Windows - Certainly not been cleaned for 6 months, likely longer. Minimal kitchen utensils. Cheese grater wasn't available. Only two sharp knives in the drawer. No spatula supplied either. Made making a cheese omelette somewhat challenging. Rear garden very neglected, lots of 'dog ends' still there from who knows how long ago.

Location, comfortable beds

Could do with some more kitchen utensils, baking trays, more tea towels, an oven glove and some basics like salt and pepper.
