Catania Centro Storico

The bed was comfortable, although squeaky. The AC was efficient. The key easily accessible in a keysafe. The room was clean.

We were given a different appartment than we've booked - not the one from the photos. There was only a small window in the front door and another one at the back, facing an enclosed access to other buildings - with no air movement - making the room dark and musty, impossible to let any fresh air in or the stale smell out. There was no coffee maker (or at least kettle). As someone else mentioned: no sharp knife, only one mug and espresso cup (there are some plates and cutlery, some plastic cups). The neighbourhood is on a dirtier side, with piles of garbage on the corners.
