Casa della Palma

We were a group of 8 and we were really comfortable in this house. The location is super close to catania centre and in 1 minute distance there is a super market which made it easier for us to get anything we needed. Well equipped kitchen & coffee supplies ! We would choose it again and we totally recommend it !

The only issue we had is that there weren’t enough towels for all of us, but it didn’t affect our stay there !

Excellent location, complete with all services, very clean and comfortable and quiet, spacious with two bathrooms, perfect for family or groups of friends. Helpful and friendly host. Self check-in is a great convenience, allowing you to arrive at any time. We enjoy our time in Catania very well.

Close to everything. Good value for a group to be together.

Beds were uncomfortable, no linens on some of the beds, unable to contact help on Sundays, only two rolls of toilet paper for 3 nights for 6 people - told us to go get it ourselves at the market. If we wanted linens on all the beds they asked for more money. No privacy, location was a little dirty and unsafe.

Well appointed. Lot’s of space. Good location.

Towels were a bit thin and musty

The location was perfect, 10 minute walk from piazza duomo and next to a supermarket. It is on the ground floor but feels safe. Everything was new and clean, it was renovated. It has a lot of space, 8 people would stay comfortably. All the amenities were there. I recomend this, it was a great value for money.

It is close to the center, so it has a lot of noise from outside. Everything inside was new, but the building is old, so there was a smell. I think that every building in that neigbourhood would have the same problems though.

The apartment has a great location, 5 min walk from the city center. Very nice and practical design of the space. It has almost anything you might need, including an iron, hair dryer, coffee machine with coffee pads, all kitchen items, shampoo and shower gel in the bathroom. The two bathrooms make it very comfortable for more people. The host is very polite, and answered quickly to all our questions. Be aware, that visitors should be close enough to stay in this apartment, as there are no doors, you are practically in a open condo-type place.

The front door is right on the street - you enter directly in the living area, above which is one of the beds, so, the noise from the cars on the street was quite strong from very early. Not enough power sockets next to the beds. You need to leave your phone to charge in the common area.
