Rhodes To Serenity - Waterfall Shepherds Hut

The hut was lovely and the place was in an amazing place

The bed was a little soft and it tilted a little

The solitude and fantastic views. It was lovely to wake up to nature's sounds, a fresh morning, a brew, bacon butty, and a host of local farm animals.

Nothing really

Recently myself and my partner had a 1 night stay in the ‘Waterfall’ shepherds hut and it was great from start to finish. The hut was clean and cosy with a really comfy bed. There was every small detail accounted for inside from coat pegs to complimentary eggs and milk. We were also gifted 2 complimentary mini Prosecco bottles as I had booked for my partners birthday and it was lovely sitting outside drinking it by the fire watching the sun set. The wet room was also really clean and had accounted for absolutely everything. There were so many extra details given such as games, local walks, local takeaways and even the local bus timetable displayed. Situated in a perfect area and was also perfect for us as we had planned to go straight from there to Alton Towers the following day which is barely a 10 minute drive away. Highly would recommend and look forward to staying again in the future!

Location and cleanliness

Shower head was weak and very tiny

The location was lovely and peaceful. The hut was so comfortable and cozy. There was so much to do nearby.

Beautiful setting. Check in was easy and the hut itself was beautiful. Communication from the hosts was fast and helpful. Loved the comfiness of the bed and the decor and tea and coffee provided. Lots of little homely touches. It felt so “quintessential British countryside” which was perfect for taking my American partner there.

Probably just me needing to toughen up a bit but having a shower in the shower block is quite chilly because the shower isnr very powerful and I think it’s better if you know before hand to go there and turn a heater on perhaps.

Delighted with this find! In a gorgeous setting, this is a super comfy / cosy little stay! Some lovely personal touches & ideally situated for exploring a wide range of local areas. The hosts also provided lots of information about what to find locally (walks / places to explore / eateries) but left you to your own devices.

Can't really give a negative!

Lovely views ,very clean , we came abit out of season as we went on a circular walk but there was nowhere open for a drink or food which is what we went there for , but the place will be brilliant in the summer months unless ur wanting a relaxing stay then it's perfect , farm animals around and peace and quiet the spot on x
