Rhodes To Serenity - Waterfall Shepherds Hut

The location and the views where spectacular the place they created was sensational so happy

EVERYTHING. Gorgeous, comfy hut with everything I needed to be self-sufficient. The views and surroundings are beautiful and tranquil, enhanced by the wandering hens and ducks. The owners are lovely and friendly too. The shower block is warm and quirky, and there is a communal area with a TV and wood burner, which again is tastefully decorated. I had booked in for 2 nights but unfortunately had to leave early, as work needed me to travel to Bath. I would love to return.

We came here was it is close to Alton Towers as it was something different to the usual hotel or B&B. We liked how cosy the place was and how the whole place had a calmness to it. The hut was very nice, the bed was comfy and it felt a lot more spacious than I initially thought it would. The hut was warm and had a heater which was useful on a morning which did not need to be on for long. The provided kitchen facilities were just what we needed, however the fridge was small so don't bring a whole load of shopping. The view was nice and hearing animals was a pleasant change. The parking was very easy making it convenient to get to and from the car. We didn't use the fire pit due to the weather however it is definitely on the list for next time, it was good that there was logs and firelighters available for purchase. The hut was clean and so were the facilities, the showers were pretty good. The bar area was nice to be in to just chill out and watch something on TV after a long day, it was a nice addition. The hosts were lovely, Georgie greeted us on arrival and explained everything well. Georgie was very helpful as we got lost (twice) and she gave us easy directions to get us there. We definitely feel that value for money was exceeded and we will be booking again soon.

Nothing wrong with the property and stay however I will say, do NOT use Apple maps for directions as you will most likely be taken to the complete wrong place, google maps is definitely a better option.

We had an amazing stay here, we wanted peace and quiet and that's exactly what we received. The location is great for those who want to stay somewhere comfy and warm after a day at Alton Towers. It has everything you could need to cook a meal, indoors or out. The bed was so comfortable and I received a great sleep. The toilets and showers are clean and warm and a 30 second jaunt from the hut. Games were also on offer which we loved and there was even a little communal area with a seating area and TV with Netflix. We turned up far too early before check in time and they still let us in to start our wind down. Picturesque views from the hut. We'll definitely be back.

It was a little chilly in the evening but that was to be expected as it is a "glamping experience" the radiator in the hut doesn't give off too much heat but blankets are provided.

Great location, great friendly hosts and great animals. You where made welcome to roam around the farm yard on your own to engage with the many different animals.
