location was very central. Spacious, good a/c and water pressure. Charming place. Coffee and plenty of basic cooking utensils appreciated. Host provided wine- Very nice touch.

Bed was a little soft but that's probably personal taste.

The central location is the main advantage, although it makes the place quite noisy.

In my opinion, the property is more suited for less demanding guests, and its rating above 9 is misleading. Overall, the upper floor is quite pleasant, except for the uncomfortable sofa; the lower floor, however, needs renovation—it's dirty, with a filthy kettle and a stained, sticky couch. It's clear that someone cleaned it roughly without paying any attention to details. Parking is problematic, and unfortunately, the owner recommends the most expensive parking lot at 25 EUR per day. There are quite a few rules and regulations that the manager insists on being followed.

We were excited with everything. The apartment itself cosy, authentic and clean. It has 2 floors. The first floor is a kitchen with a dining room where you can find everything you need to cook dinner. Also there's a washing machine which is very important when you stay for a long time. The second floor is a bedroom, bathroom and living room with folding sofa. What was important for us is that there was clima and we safe ourselves after the heat. The apartment is situated in the centre of the city. 2 minutes of walk to cathedral square and 5 minutes of walk to the sea. Nearby you can find small local shops to buy groceries, drinks and Sicilian specials. The host of the apartment is really dedicated to clients. We had some misunderstanding in communication. 2 of our company arrived 1 day before the booked date, because due to the answer we were sure that the place is free. But appeared that there are people there and we don't have place to stay. Salve with Vincenzo (the owner and the manager) found the place to stay that night, paid the difference in cost. Also Salve presented us wine and local cookies as an apology. They made everything indeed for us to forget this unpleasant misunderstanding and we are also really grateful for hostility and approach. We highly recommend this place to stay!!! This is the best price/quality proposition we had.

The only thing which is to improve is mattresses. Change them or repair. They are still usable but not straight.

it was so close to everything, the beach, restaurants, the Piazza Duomo and the Duomo,and the Rocco

As in all busy Italian streets it was noisy but only at times.
