Absolutely everything about our stay was perfect! This home is simply outstanding. From the moment we made the booking to the moment we left, our host Lefteris went above and beyond to ensure everything ran seamlessly. His genuine warmth and attentiveness truly made a difference. The house itself felt like a true home away from home—immaculately clean, beautifully furnished, and incredibly well equipped. Every little detail has been thoughtfully considered, and the welcome pack was by far the most generous and thoughtful we've ever received. It instantly made us feel cared for. I could go on about the incredibly comfortable beds, the air conditioning in every room, the well-stocked kitchen, and the stunning balcony views, but words hardly do this place justice. It’s one of those rare homes that exceeds expectations in every way. And then there's the location—just a 2-minute stroll to the beach! The nearby tavernas and small shop are fantastic, and the beach itself has a lovely, laid-back vibe. You can rent beds and umbrellas, but it never feels crowded or overly touristy. There's a strong local, family-friendly atmosphere that makes it even more special. We honestly didn’t want to leave. If you're considering this place—book it. You won’t regret it.

The only issue we had was we had our 18 month old granddaughter with us and she couldn’t play on the balcony as there is a bit of a drop off from the low wall if she had she climbed over. This is by no means a criticism it’s just for awareness.

Amazing place in an amazing location! The hospitality was a 10+!! We felt like we were staying at a family member or friends place! The host was always available and checking in on us. They offered suggestions and recommendations. It was a great beach house for my family. We would definitely stay here again!

There isn't reliable public transportation so I definitely suggest renting a car. This is just another service that the host is willing to help with as there is a rental place close by.

Okay, one thing that you need to know is that our trip to Crete happened literally on the day CrowdStrike happened. What a cluster! We were supposed to arrive at 18:00. After our first flight was super late, our flight from Athens was then rescheduled to arrive in the middle of the night. We had a rental car that we were supposed to pick up, and we were worried about them closing. I tried calling repeatedly to let Thrifty know, but no answer. I reached out to the host to let him know that we wouldn't be getting into until late. Our host was not only super sympathetic, but incredibly helpful! He offered to reach out to Thrifty and ask them to stay open later. (Yes, we paid a fee for picking up in the middle of the night, but having no car at all would have been a huge problem, so that seemed minor in comparison). Knowing that we were stranded in Athens, our host also arranged to have food dropped off at the house so that we had something to eat. I can't tell you how wonderful it was to have someone helping us so much. I am going to say that this was one of the most wonderful host experiences we have ever had! The house itself was wonderful with an incredible view of the ocean. You can walk down the hill to a very nice beach.

The only issue was that one of the rooms was pretty small, so it was hard to squeeze our luggage in here, but this is an older house, so totally understand size constraints. The house has obviously been well taken care of and updated over the years, without losing its considerable charm.

This place is truly a gem, situated amidst lush flower garden, the house exuded an aura of tranquility and charm, away from the bustling touristic places on the island. The view is simply breathtaking from the beautiful veranda, where you can see the sunrise, or enjoy your breakfast. Leftheris was very kind, welcoming, flexible and helpful. The checkin was super easy. It's a perfect place if you wish to work remotely. Near to a sandy, tranquil beach and lovely tavernas and restaurants. We hope to come back. We were lucky to discover such a treasure.

Just a suggestion to change the mattresses (too soft) for a better sleep quality.
