"Staying at this house was not only a treat, it was a retreat!"

The house was well maintained and spotlessly clean. The kitchen was well equipped. The view in every direction from the house was spectacular...the sea, mountains, the beach next door, the stars so bright, & Aurora Borealis 2 out of the 4 nights we were at the house! Our hosts were responsive and ever so helpful. The Gimsoy area is out of the touristic area (thank goodness!), and made for a wonderfully peaceful and quiet stay for the first 4 days of our 7 day stay in the islands. We wanted to stay at this house for months, and felt so sad to leave the green pastures, horses on the beach, and lovely area. I'm so glad we got to experience this side of the islands! We moved to Ramberg for the next 3 days, which was closer to Reine and Nusfjord, but there was not the same lovely peacefulness at our second location. We would stay here again in a second!

Nothing...everything was perfect! We loved it and hated to leave!
