Lillevik Lofoten

The location can’t be beat: it was perfect. Having a private beach was amazing. The house feels really cozy and authentic, with a well-equipped kitchen and nice bedrooms. A great spot to explore the upper Lofoten.

The stairs to the upper floor are a bit squeaky, which was tricky when some of us wanted to go to bed while others stayed up a little longer to enjoy the midnight sun. A negligible downside in an otherwise excellent stay!

Great home away from home. Has everything needed for a comfy stay. Central location to many sight seeing places. Aurora on our first night.

One bathroom makes it a bit difficult if comes in a big group.

Amazingly quiet location that makes you feel as if you are living like a norweigan local. The hosts were very friendly and helpful. There were bikes to borrow and a small beach down from the property that was serene and private. Everything you need for a lovely stay in a more 'remote' area of Lofoton islands. But nearby is a gold course, large beach, a small store, hiking, etc. Views were amazing from the outdoor patio deck and the living room. Lots of bright light and sunshine through the main room windows.

The bedrooms are all upstairs and the stairs appear to be original so a bit steep and not too deep. Would only be an issue if you have any mobility issues that using stairs is a problem. Thankfully a bathroom upstairs as well so you don't have to come down them in the middle of the night.

This is one of the best places we've ever stayed. The house is outstanding and the view is incredible. We self-catered by grocery shopping in Svolvaer and in Leknes (there is also a small grocery store about ten minutes away) and camped out for a few days of variable summer weather. This is a great mid-Lofoten jumping off point for excursions further afield as well as a good place to hunker down with your book if it's stormy. The house has its own beach so we didn't go to Gimsoy Beach which also looked lovely. We are sure we will come back.

Very nice and clean house, very well equiped, central location in Lofotoen, excelent communication to the hosts/landlords, highly recommended.

One of the rooms a bit small for 2 adults, second shower would be preferable if 7 or 8 adults are sleeping.

Lillevik is perfection. The cabin is an oasis of calm in the beautiful rugged wilderness of Lofoten. We booked Lillevik as a base to see the Northern lights and we were lucky to see them every night from the cabin ifself. It was a truly unforgettable holiday. The cabin itself is beautiful. It was newly renovated by our hosts Martine and Christian. We really enjoyed looking at the picture book of their renovation. They created something beautiful and we are so grateful that they allowed us to share their paradise. Lillevik is clean, spacious, comfortable, has breathtaking views, is warm and practically equipped with everything we needed. We especially enjoyed the panoramic windows, the wood burner and we also appreciated the additional comforts they provided like the crocs 😊. We are planning to return soon

Warm beautiful house. Wide panorama windows, cosy furniture and fireplace, great kitchen. The amazing scenery can be enjoyed right from the sofa.
