Monolia Maisonettes

The place was excellent, cozy, close to a nice beach and many good restaurants. Virgina was super helpful. She was always there to help, made everyrhing super comfortable for me during my stay.

Monolia Maisonettes was clean, super comfortable, lovingly well-maintained, quiet, beautiful, right on the coast with relatively easy access to the delicious sea and serene swimming. Just what we wanted and needed: rest and relaxation in a very restful and relaxing place and location for our short holiday trip. Everything about Monolia was perfect. The well-designed duplex is spacious, well-furnished and well-equipped with all your bathroom and kitchen/cooking needs; coffee/tea included; it's cool and comfortable, with great views from the terrace above and the patio below. We couldn't have asked for more. And our gracious, friendly hosts were more than generous and helpful! Many, many thanks, Virginia, and parents! :) We sincerely look forward to coming back! nb: It's not located in a 'town' per se; but within walking distance (~15 mins.) you can still find places with beach facilities, cafes/bar/restaurants...Since our purpose was mostly rest, we didn't rent a car; and when we wanted to get around, we were provided with taxi service--Dimitris, the driver, was great, too! Timely, friendly, reliable. However, I do suggest coming by car or renting if you want to explore more on your own, go shopping/to markets and go to some of the many excellent restaurants around the island.

Virginia is a very good host, friendly, easy to communicate and gave us useful hints to make our stay comfortable. Property and location are beautiful, if you are looking for peaceful and relaxing vacation. Fantastic view and just above an almost private beach with clear water. Bring your swimming shoes since it is a pebble beach.

We enjoyed our stay at Monolia Maisonettes. The location is great for being near the beach; you can reach it, take a dip in a crystal clear water, and return to your room or patio in a matter of minutes. The property is as shown in the pictures, modern and tasty decorated; no disappointment in this respect, unlike some other properties. Everything you need is available for the stay; a good working refrigerator, air conditioning, coffee machine, wash machine, utensils and kitchen tools, oven. You can cook in the kitchenettes. There is a stunning sea view from the patio and the balcony. The host family was incredibly accommodating and kind. They put in a lot of work to make your stay as comfortable as possible. I definitively would like to come back again.

Nothing concerning the Maisonettes. Having a car would be a good idea for seeing the island's beautiful villages and shopping at the grocery, since it is not within a walking distance.

- Expected much more (besides the view) for the price we paid (especially in early June which is considered off season in Greece!) & being an apartment we expected a few basic things to be included & make our stay more comfy! - WiFi wasn't working

Beautiful secluded location with fully unobstructed seafront view. Combined with a beach that could not be closer, the possibility for relaxation is optimal. The owner Virginia is really friendly, accessible, and attentive to your needs and requests.

Cleanliness could be improved, as the cleaning lady came only once per week, and didn't sweep the floor properly. The kitchen was good, but is missing a couple of utensils such as a good knife, and some gloves to take things out of the oven.

perfect view modern design and very clean. Feels like home

You can not leave the window open while sleeping because of the mosquitoes. in a property like this good should have a fly screen on windows.
