Aphrodite - Beachfront House - Recently renovated

What I liked most about the property was the view from the balcony. It overlooked the sea, and being able to see the ocean right in front of us made the stay especially enjoyable.

Unfortunately, there were several issues with the property. First, the apartment was not very clean upon arrival. Since I had clearly indicated in the booking that I would be traveling with a child, I was surprised to find that there were no basic cleaning supplies available. There was no broom, mop, bucket, or cloth to clean the floors—only towels for personal use. As we were coming back from the beach every day with sand, this was quite inconvenient. Another major issue was the water. When we turned on the tap, the water came out brown and full of sediment. I had to contact the property owner, who told me this was normal and advised us to leave the water running for about 30 minutes until it became clear. This caused a significant inconvenience, especially because I needed to wash my child after our journey and could not use the water immediately. The air conditioning was also problematic. Although the property was advertised as having air conditioning, it only worked properly in one room, while the other bedroom—with the bunk beds—had no air conditioning at all. As a result, we slept very poorly during our stay. Finally, I was disappointed with the cleanliness of the bedding. I was bitten by what appeared to be a bed bug, which raised serious concerns about the overall hygiene standards of the apartment. Overall, while the location and view were excellent, these issues had a significant negative impact on our stay.

Location!

The apartment is very outdated. The bathroom gets flooded by the shower which so small its kid friendly. The toilet you can only flush by filling a bucket in the sink. The floors were filthy. Bedroom ac didn’t work. Tv didn’t work than it was fixed after 3 days. No washer they don’t restock towels so for 3 adults for the beach and to shower we had to drive 40minutes to a public laundromat. Bbq listed is an outdoor stove that’s filled and covered in rust so no bbq. No tv in the living room. Kitchen had only really big pots. No toilet paper!paper towels/dish soap we had to purchase. No clear direction of the property or how to open gates, it’s up a long hill you have to park and walk to the property. Property has a picture of a yard in the listing which does not belong to the property and states pet friendly but no yard or grass to take them too. The sofa was a white old material covered in stains, absolutely disgusting. I would search other rentals within that property because of the beach but if you want to be comfortable this is not it.

Το σπίτι ηταν πολύ βρώμικο και στενό. Η ντουζιέρα ηταν βουλωμένη και συνεχώς πλημμύριζε από τα βρώμικα νερά. Το κλιματιστικό στο δωματιο δεν δούλευε μέσω καύσωνα.Το χειρότερο από όλα ήταν ότι επικοινώνησα με την ιδιοκτήτρια για να επιληφθεί να τα φτιάξει και μου έδωσε το τηλέφωνο του τεχνικού να μιλήσω εγω μαζί του ,για να του πω εγώ να τα φτιάξει. Και τον πήρα τηλέφωνο και απλά μου είπε κάτι υβριστικό ντόπιο που δεν κατάλαβα για την ιδιοκτήτρια. Προφανώς έχουν πολλά προηγούμενα μεταξύ τους.

Paradise location and great responsive owner

The place was filthy! Where do I start from :( . Dirty fridge, dirty floors, dirty windows and disgustingly dirty couch, no light in the master bedroom, not enough pressure to flush the toilet, only one pair of towels for 4 nights, tiny shower so after it all the bathroom was wet. Such a pity to have that kind of property and treat it like that.

Niesamowite miejsce do którego wrócę nie raz. Najlepszy apartament w całym kurorcie, a nawet na wyspie. Sprawdzałem inne opcje w okolicy i tylko jeden sąsiedni miał takie same udogodnienia i zejście do plaży. Lecz sąsiedzi skarżyli się na nieprzyjemny zapach. U nas było wszystko wspaniałe. Wspaniała gospodyni Efi, którą gorąco pozdrawiam. Bardzo dobry kontakt i otwartość na gości oraz wsparcie np. przy znalezieniu firmy wynajmującej samochody. Widać, że dokładają wszelkich starań by dogodzić odpoczywającym i dbają jak mogą o apartament, świadczy o tym między innymi odnowiony grill, jak i zadbany apartament. Meble rzeczywiście nie są najnowsze, ale ma to swój klimat, który również mnie zachwycił (wszystkie działały), a szczególnie armatura łazienki, która jest wiekowa, ale nie dostanie się jej w byle markecie budowlanym. W wyposażeniu nic nam nie brakowało jak w kuchni, która była w pełni funkcjonalna, lodówka działała, telewizor działał, wi-fi działało, klimatyzacja w salonie i sypialni działała. Bardzo łatwo się dostać do apartamentu, jest również łatwy dojazd i miejsce tuż przy budynku by na moment się zatrzymać i wypakować bagaże oraz przydzielone miejsce parkingowe na parkingu głównym, co było bardzo wygodne. Przy apartamencie jest prysznic gdzie można się opłukać z piasku i soli. Czysty apartament i odmalowany. Spłuczka wymagała rzeczywiście wsparcia czasami wiaderkiem, co nam nie sprawiało żadnego problemu, ponieważ jesteśmy czystymi ludźmi, a Grecja akurat ma specyficzną kanalizację więc byliśmy przygotowani. Woda w umywalne i prysznicu normalnie spływała bez problemu, nie było żadnych nieprzyjemnych zapachów w łazience czy w domu. Również cena bardzo dobra, inne zaczynały się od 300 euro za noc, ale były gorsze dojścia do plaży, gorszy widok i warunki lub nieprzyjemny zapach. Widzę, jak Efi z roku na rok inwestuje w apartament.

Niektórzy poprzedni goście, którzy zostawili plamy na pięknej białej kanapie, a których już się nie wybieliło i dziwne, negatywne opinie. Przez te opinie zastanawiałem się, czy nie wybrać innego miejsca. Jestem wdzięczny, że podjąłem decyzje z partnerką by wybrać właśnie ten apartament. Czuliśmy się jak dzieci w raju. Gdy tylko obudziliśmy się, wyskakiwaliśmy z łóżka i lecieliśmy na plażę zadowoleni, kąpiąc się w cudownym morzu, po powrocie jedliśmy śniadanie rozkoszując się widokiem z balkonu. Nastała noc, to co z tego, nie ma nic lepszego jak obserwacja bezkresu gwieździstego nieba leżąc w wodzie i nie martwiąc się niczym, że do domu daleko, bo dom był na miejscu. Tak też się właśnie czuliśmy, nie jak goście hotelowi, w obcym miejscu, lecz jak ludzie, którzy są u siebie w odpowiednim miejscu. W Domu. Brakuje słów by opisać ten zachwyt. Życzę każdemu wdzięcznemu człowiekowi, by też mógł to poczuć całym sobą odwiedzając Afroditi.

The location of the apartment was really amazing, the balcony as well, the beds were clean , aircon was really helpfull

the rest room was little bit small, shower corner pretty small as well, kitchen little lower equiped , as we are used to attending, but taking to account price/location nothing what we were not expecting , we were closing the eyes for some drawbacks or lack of the comfort, but for such price we had an amazing stay in such location there near the beach with parking slot , in the nutshell , with pros and coins, taking to account the price , we would come back again

Great place, on the second floor on the balcony as if on the sea beach. All household items were in order. There was absolutely no noise from the other side of the restaurant. It is a very easy trip to the monastery, where it is quite a spiritual place. In the other direction - a difficult but bearable journey of at least an hour over the seaside stones to Pelek, we returned through the village.
