Everything was absolutely perfect! Super dog-friendly! We were really struggling to find a suitable christmassy, dog-friendly trip… until we found here. So many dog-friendly places around and very lovely, welcoming people on the site. We got lost on the way and the owner was so helpful in getting us there and ensuring we were okay. Property has a great hot tub, homely living area and a comfortable bed, absolutely no complaints could be made. Conveniently close to the site’s tavern and Crazy Horse, as well as the town centre. We also visited a christmas tipi in Carlisle Park, a short drive away. All of these were incredibly dog-welcoming! Also a charging directly opposite the property which is greatly convenient for those with an EV. Thank you Chris & Shelley!

Location is good. Amble and Alnwick less than 15 min drive away. Few short walks nearby Used the Crazy horse saloon on Felmoor Park for evening meal which was fab. Nice and cosy with good heating and smart TV.

Getting the key from the box took a while as the button keeps popping up. Ended up having to press it down with a key and prizing open with the other. Lodge was clean, except muck left in floor of cupboard and someone else's earplugs under the bed. Grass/gravel area near parking space would be better paved as all of the mud from there trails onto the steps then the decking and there's nothing avail to clean it

The smell from the drains and fields whilst walking through the site a bit off putting. Phone signal a bit hit and miss. When leaving site it's a lottery on how busy the A1 is

Location was brilliant, and fairly cheap onsite pub with lovely staff. Hot tub was brilliant and just what we needed. Plenty of space and great atmosphere. Best bit is that the caravan looked out onto a field so felt a lot more private. Very stylish decor and comfy beds. Already looking to rebook for colder months.

There is a wasp problem and fly problem, which is not uncommon on a campsite, could have done with a net up at the door however fly spray was provided. Needs an outdoor light as it was a nice night and we were unable to sit out. Did find bugs in the bed on the second night, informed hosts.
