Comfy at Ed's - 20 mins to Kaiteri & Abel Tasman

Easy to find and simple for what we needed, forgot about the no TV but hey we needed sleep as had travelled a distance to get there

The trees were a wee bit over grown to get to the back door, but apart from that it was fine.

Spacious kitchen and lounge

The bathroom and cooking pots and pans. The shower water pressure was low and the water shower head sprayed out and not towards the person having the shower. The vanity basin drainage seems to be clogged and draining slowly. The non stick cooking pots are damaged and peeling. The pots take awhile to heat up. The microwave was not cleaned as there were burnt food splash in the microwave.

Very quiet place! Lots of space. Very near Abel Tasmanpark.

The place is a little bit older, but very nice.

Kitchen surfaces poor

Kitchen had all the facilities. Plenty of pots, pans and cutlery along with the usual appliances. Car parking in car port close to the property. Beautiful lawn to sit and enjoy a cup of tea. Easy check in process.

The accommodation does not have all the amenities as advertised. The owner made an unacceptable and extremely rude comment to my partner. This has left a very sour taste for both of us on this stay. The listing advertised that an ironing board. When we couldn't find one on premise we requested one urgently which was provided but by comments of us being as organised as a 14 year old. As the proprietor this is uncalled for an unnecessary especially since you have lied on the listing saying that the listing has these amenities. There is a certain way to communicate and be respectful and this was absolutely not it. The dinning room could use a sofa as a space to sit and relax. The listing advertised one but has a person seat along with 2 chairs around a table. This leaves the bed as the only comfortable location to relax. The yellow pillow covers on the bed had stains on them.

it's not that I didnt like the property as I was hardly there. The shower pressure was a little poor but once the water was warm was fine

We enjoyed the fact that Comfy at Ed's was in a really convenient location to act as a base for us to explore the Golden Bay area. The place was tidy and just really a good place to stay. Really nice hosts and awesome communication about things to do. Thank you for having us. We really appreciate it. 😊 Any issues brought up were communicated and sorted right away.

Loved no TV, excellent wifi, plenty space, free oranges! Friendly host. Great value for money and private.

Uneven walkway from carport was the only thing for me.
