The sud est house

The Sud Est House was in a perfect location for exploring Salerno and the Amalfi Coast. The village of Molina is lovely, as is Vietri sul Mare. The beds were so comfortable, the shower was hot and water was plentiful and the accommodation more than met our needs.

Nothing.

The house is spacious and comfortable. It is located in a small community just a few minutes outside of Vietri. There is a bar/cafe next door and a couple of small stores nearby. There is a small parking lot in front of the apartment. The kitchen is well equipped. The beds are comfortable. There is a large, modern bathroom with good shower. We enjoyed our stay here in spite of a few minor inconveniences.

Rooms all have open space between them at the top of the walls (including bathrooms), so you can hear all noise from adjacent rooms. Check-in was a bit challenging. Instructions were not sent to us in advance, so we couldn't access the key in the lock box. We needed to ask locals to help us confirm that we were in the correct place. When we called the owner, she wanted to send instructions through Whatsapp instead of telling us the code. However, she did tell us the code and later apologized for not sending it earlier. We were not able to get the fireplace to work and there were no instructions. We called the owner again and she sent instructions, but we still had problems and gave up. We used heaters that were provided, but then we lost power. We contacted the owner again and were able to easily turn the power back on with her instructions. It was a frustrating experience, but the place really is nice and we will try it again on another visit to Vietri. I'm sure it was frustrating for the owner too as we had to call several times during the night.
