Papigo Stonehouse

Simply perfect. You can feel that every detail was thoughtfully considered—nothing was missing. A clean and cozy country house, just as we imagined, and as a bonus, the kids had a private football pitch right next to the house with a fairytale-like view. The road to the village is long and winding, but for those who aren’t deterred, a charming village awaits, full of things to see and do.

The location was perfect and the views from the terrace indescribably beautiful. The house is lovely, decorated with taste, immaculately clean, and had everything needed for comfort even a long shoe horn for my husband. Choice of restaurants within short walk. Plenty of parking right outside. The hostess is delightful. Stay here you will feel the calm of this magical spot.

The house has magnificent views, spacious and very comfortable bedrooms , beautiful Greek decor and excellent range of books on information about the area . The hostess welcomed us with beautiful handmade walnut liqueur. Everything was absolutely fabulous !

Probably the most beautiful house we ever rented. Well equipped, great location close to Vikos gorge and river rafting and great host.

The apartment is exceptionally pleasant to stay. It's a very big and detached house. Despite the central location in Papigo, the nearby surroundings are very quiet and pastoral. The only thing you see from the backyard and from all the windows is a nature. The house is fully equipped for the family's stay. Even including the books and the table games, the connection to Netflix and to cable TV and the kitchen equipped just like, or better, than in your own home. The hosts, Gulfo and Thasos, do everything to make the stay pleasant and unforgettable. They are always achievable and super cooperative. We enjoyed our stay in Papigo Stonehouse exceptionally!!.

There are no such things

Everything! The house is big and beautiful, with 2 rooms, 1 of them with another bathroom inside, and a big living room, with 2 sofas, each opens to become a bed. Best for families with children. Fully equipped with everything a family may need in vacation, including dishwasher and laundry machine, all kitchen dishes and equipment, toys and games for the kids, etc. When we arrived, there were some booklets waiting for us with information about Papigo, things to do and places to travel. And it was in OUR language (and, hey, our language is Hebrew, not one of the popular languages on hearth). All windows in rooms and living room have curtains and nets, so no worries about mosquitoes inside, or children waking up too early because of daylight ;) And yet, Golfo kept asking all the time if we need anything… For us it felt the best location inside Papigo, with the mountains view just in front of us, and the coffee (which is also a tiny mini market) less than a minute walking from us. About the village of Papigo, though some people find the road to it scary or annoying, we found it amazing, and we think it is the best location for really enjoying some days in Zagori.

For people with allergies, beware of bees in the garden, as there are many of them (in all places we’ve been in Greece).
