Good location, not far from Penrith centre and had a bus stop right outside. Very clean and well equipped and the host was very friendly.

Excellent cleanliness and the fire kept us very warm!

Everything was brand new and the decor was lovely. The attention to detail was fantastic - everything we would need for our stay had been thought of and the kitchen was very well equipped. All bedrooms were spacious. The location was good and within easy reach of Pooley Bridge and Penrith. We visited the local pub in Tirril which was only a short walk away. The owners were very helpful and friendly.

Nothing, it was perfect!

Relatively easy to find the Old Brewery Barn is a real home from home! Ian and Elizete has spent so much time on the attention to detail on this gorgeous barn providing you everything you could possibly need for a weekend away. Downstairs the barn has a spacious open plan kitchen, dining & living space with views out to the beautiful landscape. The kitchen is really well equipped, with pots, pans, dishes; even tin foil and salad dressing! On arrival there was a welcome tray of tea, milk and biscuits which provided a lovely touch. The bedrooms are all really spacious, clean and bright, simply furnished with extra blankets for comfort and warmth. The huge master bedroom is located downstairs and has a lovely en-suite with walk in shower, we always had access to piping hot water and the heating; although it took us a little getting used to, Ian was on hand to show us the ropes and we soon got to grips with it! The garden is very sweet and completely enclosed, perfect for our little dogs to explore. The location was ideal for us within a easy 10 mins drive to Ullswater for paddle-boarding. We'd made the trip up with our family who where located in a house nearby and joined us for evening meals as there was plenty of space to accommodate 6 adults. Finally Ian and Elizete were just the perfect hosts! They were on hand should you need them, but happily just let you get on with your stay, they greeted us on arrival and we had a lovely long chat with them on our departure. This place is a real gem and a perfect spot to escape to and enjoy everything that the wonderful Lake District has to offer!

I didn't like leaving!

The house was stunning immaculately clean and had everything you needed even a lovely welcoming pack. The hosts were very friendly they messaged us to say the house was ready if we wanted to check in early and were there if we needed.anything Also we were running a bit late for check out and they were very understanding
