Lake District romantic get away in 1 acre gardens off M6

Near to Tebay and M6 so location was great. Grass area and field for our dog. Luxury shower and bath. Enormous TV. Comfortable beds.

The cottage itself was beautiful, very comfortable and had everything you would need to stay somewhere including cooking accessories and toiletries, all you need to take is clothes and toothbrush/toothpaste. The location was easy to find and the host gave easy instructions to follow regarding finding the property plus great communication in regards to anything else such as key lockbox and WiFi, expectations of your stay etc, the whole area is lovely. Would really love to visit and stay in this place again, perfect place for our anniversary getaway

I would have loved to use the jacuzzi bath a bit more but unfortunately the water doesn't stay hot for long and goes freezing cold, needing to be left for a few hours before it warms up again.

The cottage was clean, well equipped, warm ( under floor heating ) and tastefully decorated. The spa bath and comfortable bed was much welcomed. Owners were very accommodating and provided great information re- facilities and instructions to help locate the cottage. Also, attention to reduce traffic noise, we had no concerns and wouldn’t hesitate to return.
