Casa Rodrigues

This is a huge house with beautiful old-style furniture mixed with modern amenities, The view is outstanding over the town and the Douro Valley with excellent deck areas to sit and absorb the sights. It was spotlessly clean and had a fully equipped kitchen. The host was very responsive and helpful.

Maybe a bit steep to access the property - but that gives the stunning aspect....

Huge accomodation on two floors with massive deck area on bottom floor and balcony on upper, both with good views of the Douro River valley. Nearby parking, close to several restaurants, good dinner at the Bridge Restaurant.

Absolutely incredible views. Very roomy with balcony and deck. Appreciated the easy communication and check in.

Kitchen cutlery needs updating as there was only one teaspoon that was able to be used.

Great location, lovely little town, the house is located on top of town and really nice view, the house is big and clean.

Stunning views

The partial view of the river was the only ok thing about this property but nothing to write home about. All other negatives doesn't make it worth to stay here.

Everything could have been better. The doors were metal and cold and the key kept getting stuck. The bathroom on the main floor is just a powder room not full bathroom (as indicated in the reservation). The downstairs bedrooms had cobwebs on the ceilings. The bathroom downstairs looked renovated however already showing signs of wear and tear and it was not cleaned properly. The cupboards in the bedrooms were so scary looking; thankfully we didn't use it. Everything looked so creepy. One bedroom was locked. Access to the outside sitting area is through the downstairs bedrooms. The access to the property is on a VERY STEEP hill. Good luck with luggage. Also there is no private area for car parking. You have to public park on the side of the very steep road and walk down or up (depending on where you parked) to the apartment.
