The fishing! The location

Freezer needed defrosting. Fridge seal was hanging off, I think we repaired it though, insufficien poor cutlery (sleeps 8 but only 4 knives and forks!), 1 tea cloth, dirty old scourer, mouldy round the sink which has been clear siliconed in, 1 dishcloth, no grater, no colander, cheapest pillows you can buy, no cleaning fluids, no mop, shabby inside and out (needs a lick of paint), window in one bedroom needs replacing, carpets smelling, cobwebs EVERYWHERE. it needed a good general clean. garden filthy. Host never replied to a very polite call (we wanted to know if we could store our fishing gear in the garage) when we first arrived, lucky we didn't have a problem! Dirty kitchen floor, thanks to lack of cleaning materials we couldn't wash it before we left. Pictures have been taken. I fully understand the level of some guests, I get it, I own a number of properties myself but don't leave a place like this. I always treat the places well even if other customers don't. i am a repeat customer customer as well, we fish down this way a lot. it's a shame, really a shame. wouldn't take a lot for me to give this place a big thumbs up

Location

No hot water working for the taps for a bath or shower and the boiler has a leak on the tank. Message 3 or 4 times no reply. Not a good experience when it's cost over £300 a night.

Clean comfortable in great location. Will stay again 😊

Quick walk to train station and 1 stop to Cardiff Central or short taxi journey. If you're in to footy the stadium is across the road. Clean and in good condition.

Property was excellent as we were going to the football, we couldn't be closer to the ground.Parking enough for 2 cars .

Met Dip the host on arrival as he was cleaning and very happy to run us into town so we left the car at the house. Lovely man.
