Wir haben uns in dieses wunderbare und gemütliche Cottage auf den ersten Blick verliebt. Die Lage über der Bucht ist einzigartig. Die Einrichtung ist sehr gemütlich und sowohl für ungemütliche kalte Tage als auch für warme Sommertage perfekt geeignet. In dem Cottage und um das Cottage herum erlebt man Cornwall in seiner Reinform! Die Gastgeberin ist sehr hilfsbereit, unkompliziert und sehr sympathisch!

Wir waren einfach zu kurz dort!

Lovely old fisherman’s cottage that has been lovingly restored. The cottage is in a wonderful location overlooking the working harbour of Portloe and has amazing views out to sea. Our hosts Annie and Giovanni couldn’t have been more friendly, kind and accommodating and went out of there way to make us feel welcome and extremely comfortable during our stay. We didn’t want to leave and very much looking forward to returning in the not too distant future. Thank you Annie and Giovanni!

Annie and Giovanni were super friendly, generous hosts who kindly dropped us off at The Eden Project and welcomed us with a gift basket and a quick tour of the property. We were even lucky enough to sample some of Giovanni's homemade bread! The cottage is gorgeous and the location is perfect if you're looking for a remote getaway, amidst beautiful surrounds.

A fantastic stay in a beautiful cottage. The hosts Annie and Giovanni were great and they looked after our every need and even left us a lovely welcome basket in the cottage. The location was lovely and the hosts gave us plenty of good ideas on where to go and what to do in the local area.

The location of Cliff Cottages is simply incredible – a very rare find! The sea almost lapping at your feet, waking up to the sound of the waves and with the most spectacular views from a large and sheltered terrace. Whether you are enjoying the exquisite (proper Italian) coffee when soaking up the morning sunshine or a late night glass of wine by the firepit, there is no better place for it… Annie and Giovanni are simply exquisite hosts who made us feel fantastically welcome and totally at home throughout our stay. A lovely hamper of yummy goodies and all the advice and help we could possibly wish for added real magic to our stay. The village of Portloe is small and pretty perfectly formed. The coastal path in both directions out of the village provides fantastic walks and stunning views. There are lots of attractions in the area – the Lost Gardens at Heligan were a highlight for us – but there are many others. There is a restaurant ‘a stone’s throw away’ (literally) at the Hotel and the small village pub is just a couple of hundred yards, so there's no need to get in the car for a meal out. We would love to go back another time!

Unique is an understatement: this was by far one of the best holiday experiences we have ever had. Amazing hosts that make you feel right at home, a very cosy and clean cottage and all this in a dreamlike and peaceful location. Plus lots to do and see in the area. We hope to return soon!
