The apartments are conveniently located: you can walk to the main attractions, you can walk to the beach in half an hour, grocery stores, bakeries, restaurants are nearby. Very responsive owners of the apartments, provide all the necessary information and answer all questions as quickly as possible.

Some elements need updating, I would like more dishes

Hello, This was our last 2 nights stay in Sicily. We travelled from Naples and stayed in many locations. In terms of location to centre, the appt is located in good spot however parking is not easy. Owner claims close public parking but we parked in front of appt. If you have a bigger car, you have bigger problem. Communication with owner was "italian style" little chaotic. Nevertheless, we got introduced to place, he showed us everything what was needed. Apartment was very hot and it took good 2-3 hours to get all air conditioning to max and cool it down. Breakfast is basically cheap Lidl Croissants placed on kitchen table. I guess within that price there must be certain expectation. However we appreciated freezer, milk and coffee maker. place was clean. Beds were terrible. Other than that, if you want to be close to center, this could be the place for you. Nights are quite busy and noise from motorcycles.

I made a booking for a BeB where everything is broken and nothing is working. The electricity is not enough to hold more than one device par time. The air con and electricity system failed the third day. WiFi is not working properly. The toilet basin broken down and water felt from under the sink. The chemical smell coming from the toilet. The kitchen does not work preperly. We had enough! This BeB is unsafe and unsuitable for any kind of guests! We have to children with us and we risked electroshock right now! We called the host and he didn't even turned up to fix the issue saying that he will come in the morning. We are not able to use the toilet anymore. The electricity goes often off and we have to switch on from the central meter. Moreover, the host accused us to have broken items in the property. It looks like they use to do this kind of scams. Everything in the property is fixed with tape duck and broken down when used. The plumber came and confirmed that pipes were worn and really old. Air con and electric system are really old too. Be aware about those scammers which rent broken properties and ask compensation to guests. We have been in another appartament from the 3rd to the 10th of February and we have been really good there. Everything was in order to host a guest, never had issue with anything. In this BeB we could not have one day spent without having an issue in their place. In addition, the host communicate only face to face. They are not willing to move us to another property as we expected to don't cause any financial issues to the host. However, we are unable to carry on having people checking on us when we are in the property or out (we don't have any privacy respected). They also said that we spent electricity superior to a normal family capacity. The heating does not work (in February during the night there is about 4° celcius). My kids got cold and fever in the meantime.

The apartment is located a short walk from the market and main square, with lots of cafes, restaurants and bars nearby. The beach is also within walking distance. The apartment is exactly as it looks in the photos, with everything you could possibly need for a short - or long! - stay: fully equipped kitchen and bathroom, breakfast and snacks, comfortable bed, spacious terrace, etc. The host is also extremely friendly, accommodating, and obliging. Picking up the keys on-site was simple and leaving my suitcase at the property before the designated check-in time was also no problem.

Not the fault of the host or apartment but it was quite loud in the mornings with construction work going on across the street. It's an easy fix with ear plugs though :)

Great apartment, perfect for a trip together. A big plus for the balcony and breakfast in the form of croissants and coffee. Location near the fish market and the center.

Sometimes there was an unpleasant smell from the bathroom after using the shower.
