"Great apartment for exploring Salerno and the region."

An excellent apartment , well equipped and perfect location for exploring the region. Loved the rooftop terrace to relax after a long day. The hosts were very friendly and could not do enough for us. Highly recommended.

The only piece of equipment we would have liked was a toaster !

"So close to the centre of Salerno"

The house was well located, close to shops and the centre of Salerno. The 2 bathrooms was a bonus for a large family.

There were a few items missing from the kitchen with no toaster, no oven, and unable to open a bottle of wine as there was no corkscrew. For a family of 5 a few more bowls and plates would have been useful. The layout was kind of strange with no TV where the couch was, so we had to sit on the dining room table to watch the TV upstairs.

"Great location - near to restaurants, train and bus connections and shops in the old city of Salerno"

Lovely apartment close to the Cathedral in the old part of the city. We would recommend a visit to Ristorante Cicirinella next door but make a reservation first. Good base to take a ferry to Amalfi and Positano, train to Naples, Pompeii and Herculaneum and a bus to the Castello di Arechi.

In general the apartment was well equipped but we would have liked if there was a wine opener, toaster/grill and a chopping board in the kitchen
