"Shaldon is a beatitiful village, and allows for many trips to surrounding areas."

Climatic historic site. Comfortably arranged with many welome details. Even low doors (mind your head) do spoil the general charm of the house.

Beware - do not rent a wide car, it is really difficult to get into the site. Otheriwese you can hunt for parking places or go to a public parking (paid) with a walk up th hill to retrive the car.

"A wonderful long weekend of swimming and walking in a cottage full of history and character."

This 17th century thatched cottage is very atmospheric and relaxing. It is set in a quiet square, less than a minute's stroll from Shaldon beach and the foot ferry over to Teignmouth. A grocery shop, pubs, cafes and restaurants are all within easy reach.

An electric shower over the bath would be brilliant - but it is a 17thC cob and thatch cottage so maybe that isn't possible!
