Everything was fine.

Very comfortable, very well equipped and spacious accommodation. Exactly as described and depicted by photos. Very clean and furniture and bedding good quality. Lovely views, including sheep! Good Italian restaurant in the village. Ideal base for exploring the local area.Thank you Julie and Darren 🙂

Well proportioned and nicely decorated property - great being able to park off road right outside the front door for unloading/loading. Fabulous views front and back. Huge bedroom with very comfortable bed and dual aspect to enjoy the views. Exceptionally clean, tidy and well equipped. The hosts were very approachable and ensured we had all we needed, even recommended a nice restaurant for our anniversary meal out. The town with a selection of shops and eateries is about a 12 min walk away down the hill. We stayed during a mini heatwave yet the house remained cool inside. Bus stops very close and train station about a mile away which has a free car park! Highly recommended.

The comfort and facilities

Shower temperature not stable and shower tray a bit slippery

We liked everything about Tar Top, it was very comfortable and cosy for us. The kitchen was well equipped, the lounge came with an electric fire and heating was adjustable too, very relaxing for us. There was a table where we could eat and after cooking a meal in the kitchen. The bedroom and the ceilings were amazing, so much space, great wardrobe space for clothes and the nice ensuite with the shower too.

A lovely place to stay, cosy, comfortable, immaculate and very well designed. Outstanding views front & back and very well situated in Silsden - a great place for exploring N. Yorkshire. Perfect!

Spotlessly clean, well-appointed, quality provision, lovely views. Would be very happy to stay there again. Hosts were brilliant - I asked to borrow a bucket to wash our car which the Harrogate pigeons had "decorated" and they provided not just bucket, but car shampoo, car wash brush and hosepipe! Very kind and very approachable people.

What a gem! We absolutely loved this little house. Spotlessly clean which is a key point for me. The views front and back were fabulous; we were entertained by the lambs leaping about in the field at the rear. We watched them from the comfortable bed lying down. Everything in the house was good quality, comfortable and clean. We would definitely book this place again in the future. Thank you for a fabulous stay!

Perfect location for us visiting family. The property was clean and had everything we needed for our stay. The host even brought us some milk round when we arrived.
