Solvang Alisal Vacation Cottages

We had a wonderful stay at Solvang Alisal Vacation Cottages. Everything about the experience was excellent. The hosts were incredibly welcoming and thoughtful, they left us a traditional Danish cake and snacks in the room, which was such a lovely touch. The cottage was very comfortable, the Keurig coffee machine was perfect for our morning coffee, and the Wi-Fi was fast and reliable. The absolute highlight was the location. It’s literally in the best spot in town, within easy walking distance to everything Solvang has to offer. We couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay.

Excellent downtown location, you can cover most of Solvang on foot if you stay here. Room was spacious and the cottage was well maintained. Very responsive host.

Olivia, the host is very nice. She is very accommodating. We checked in early and she was very nice to accommodate us. We love the welcome pastry she gave us. She ensures we have everything we need to enjoy our stay. Linens, towels, pillows, and the entire place smell good and very neat. Our stay in Solving is rainy, but the home gave us comfort and warmth. It is indeed a home away from home. The area is very peaceful and safe. Given the chance to visit the area, we will choose this place again. We also like the code system, so there will no worries on misplacing the keys.

Thumbs up to the host! There is nothing we did not like. Keep up the good work. I know we could have enjoyed the front of the house more if it was not raining, but what can we do, that's the weather when we stayed there.

We loved how clean and cozy the cottage was. It had a warm, welcoming feel that matched the charm of Solvang perfectly. The location was ideal—right in the center of town and close to all the restaurants, shops, and activities. It was the perfect place to celebrate our 10-year anniversary.

We didn’t have any major complaints. Everything met or exceeded our expectations for a relaxing anniversary stay.
