Solvang Alisal Vacation Cottages

Excellent and quite a surprise

Tried to contact them a couple of times. Resonse time was slow first time and did not respond the second time

The location was awesome and very close to restaurants, shops and downtown. Convenient parking in the alley. The cottage itself was clean and had nice new amenities in the kitchen and bathroom.

The communication with the host was very disappointing. I had several issues needing to be resolved and the response was very poor. I emailed, called, left voicemails etc.. only to receive an email several hours later not solving the problem whereas a return phone call would have been nice. The shower had no soap (I ended up buying soap for the shower), the WiFi only connected half the time even though it showed a signal both my computer and phone would not connect with the WiFi after numerous attempts and the streaming on the TV did not work. The sofa bed could have been better as well.

The property was very cute, close to every and had a great porch to sit and relax.

The price was high and I think they need pest control

Lovely cottage, perfect location to walk to everything in town. Loved the front porch for unwinding at the end of the day with a glass of wine! The host left us delicious danish pastry; a nice touch.

The soaps were not filled

Cleanliness was excellent

The second room was not a room at all it was a sofa bed and light from outside streamed in through the glass door.

There was an issue with the smoke alarm but it was resolved by the Host, David.

Location was perfect… walkable to town of Solvang

Nothing… everything excellent. We will be back!!
