Great place with outstanding views. Apartment had everything we needed and was super clean. Overall great experience and thanks to host for hospitality

We didn't realise how hilly madeira is and you need to be super fit if you decided to walk to the center. Good news, bus stop is a 1 min away from apartment

"A very pleasant stay with charming people"

Joel and Sonia are wonderful hosts. They picked us up at the airport and showed us the main points of interest in the beautiful city of Funchal before taking us to the flat, where a bottle of wine was waiting for us. Their house is on the heights of Funchal with a nice view on the city and the sea. The flat is large, comfortable and well appointed, with a pleasant terrace. The house is about 20 minutes from the city centre by bus (and you should really pay attention to the bus schedule), but the bus trip is quite an experience ! There is a convenient supermarket nearby as well as a pleasant restaurant. If you don't mind bus trips and a little walking, it is really a nice place to stay to discover Funchal and its vicinity. We shall certainly stay with Joel and Sonia if we visit Funchal again.

"Vynikajici hostitele, velky a dobre vybaveny apartman."

Sonia a Joel pro nas prijeli na letiste. Po ceste nam ukazali centrum mesta a nejblizsi supermarket, pekarnu a restauraci v dochodne vzdalenosti od apartmanu. Navrhli nam take trasy a mista poznami na jednotlive dny. Pujcili nam svuj Fiat Panda. Posledni den nas zase odvezli na letiste.

Jedinne, co nam trochu chybelo, byl lepsi vyhled na more z venkovniho posezeni.

Hosts picked us up at the airport (additional charge) and gave us a nice tour of the city with a lot of information. They also highlighted many activities and answered all our questions. Very nice people.

We had a great time, the owners were very kind and met us at the airport when we arrived and took us the day we left. They were very kind in recommending places to visit and where to eat. (ps. don't look at the photos on google maps because they are old). I highly recommend it
