Surprisingly unassuming little house but with all the essentials, great space, and very comfortable to stay in. We spent 1 night as we attended a friend's wedding nearby and it was beyond expectations. Nice neighbourhood, with good restaurants, a nice little river/creek and parking on the main street (but can be tricky to find a spot in busy periods). The hosts were helpful when coordinating on check-in times, parking, and other info.

The price was quite high for Alenquer, 40min away from Lisbon by car, so paying ~150 euros for 1 night is quite a lot, especially given other local prices (in restaurants, etc.). If you have low mobility, be mindful that you do need to climb ~50/60 steps to the apartment and the bedroom is only accessible by stairs inside the apartment.

The apartment was small but adequately comfortable with a great view

The access to the apartment was terrible with the need to walk up at least 80 steps up a steep hill to access the property and no mention of this was made in the property details on Booking.com
