GUEST HOUSE LE BOFFE

Martina was phenomenal; she went above and beyond my expectations. She took the time to alert us that bad weather would affect boat transfer services at the port on our arrival day and that we should consider to be onsite ready to aboard by a specific time. That by itself, was the critical element that allowed us to arrive at Capri at a perfect check-in time. Additionally, she provided specific instructions on how to arrive to Guest House Le Boffe directly from the Marina to Anacapri without any issues. Martina met us, took us through all the amenities and spent a considerable amount of time getting to know us and explaining certain things about the island. The room was extremely comfortable, very clean, and spacious for a couple. Anacapri is low key, quiet, and welcoming. You are close to the Monte Solaro chair lift, Villa San Michelle, and a must stop Limoncello di Capri. We took her advice and rented a scooter which allowed us to traverse throughout the whole island the very next day. We spent 16 days in Italy (Venice, Pisa, Cinque Terre, Rome, Tivoli, Napoli) but Capri was by far our favorite.

With air conditioning turned on, the apartment was very cool even during the height of the summer heat wave, so much so that we had to keep the windows open in order to warm it up to the right temperature for us. The fridge was full of goodies which we typically use for preparing breakfasts. The hosts, a young family, was very kind and helpful, yet not intrusive. The location is excellent, very close to the town center, yet it is in a quiet street.

The apartment is slightly below the ground floor, so the windows are above the eyesight, just under the ceiling. Yet, the apartment still has enough sunlight coming through the windows, so that the dark curtains are available and preferable to be put on in the mornings, so that one can oversleep. :)
