Aviemore Highlands No82

It was spacious and well laid out. I have one teen who wakes early - he was able to go watch TV and not disturb the rest of the family. We were able to cook full meals to cut down on costs. Also, it is a pleasant 10 minute walk on a trail to the town.

I can’t think of any negatives.

Very well presented, nicely decorated, comfortable beds. Overall, it was a very positive experience.

Lovely cosy place in Aviemore. Nice comfy beds and well equipped with everything you might need. Good spot for driving to different walks and activities in the Cairngorms.

Heaters and general wall switches were a little tricky to figure out. Some coffee pods and spare blankets would have been nice to have.

Lovely and homely. Very comfy beds, fully kitted out kitchen, nice bathroom and a lovely area out back to sit and eat.

Shower difficult to get to correct temperature.

It was immaculate and the beds were extremely comfortable. Normally we can struggle getting a good sleep in a strange place but it wasn’t an issue as the beds and sheets were such good quality. The location is 10/10 your 2 minutes in the car from the main shops. It had everything we needed.

The couch is extremely uncomfortable and the blind in the bedroom with 2 single beds needs replaced and upgraded but that’s it.

No.82 was clean, comfortable and perfectly equipped to be home from home. The washing machine was a welcome facility when we ended up caught in last weekend's stormy weather. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will definitely consider booking again for our next visit to Aviemore. Great location for accessing both the local amenities and lots of fantastic things to do with the family within a short drive - Highland Wildlife Park, Landmark Forest Adventure Park, Cairngorm Mountain, Wildcat Trail, Highland Folk Museum and Loch Imrich.

This is a quiet location and in effect it is a two bedroom house. Overall, the facilities are great. The host was most willing to help when a small problem arose. So, top marks for coming to the fore.

There seemed to be a cleaning regime that is a little over the top.

The house has everything you need and more! Was very clean and location is amazing. Setting is lovely, garden very cute! Also had a bottle of prosecco waiting for me on arrival which was a lovely touch, especially after a 4 hour drive there!

Myself and partner found the bed in main bedroom very uncomfortable, very firm! No complaints from my daughter though, she found her bed comfortable.
