The Haven

The beds were very good, nice linen. Kitchen well equipped, mugs too big to go under coffee machine. Good dishwasher and washing machine. New frying pans needed, all past it!

We had a week with no TV, no proper heating. The agent, Maxine, not prepared to come and help us. She sent someone to the house, but to no effect for us. Tv stayed on U Tube, we couldn’t set the boiler timer. Very poor customer relations, in fact verging on rude. Tv far too complicated.

We had a fantastic week at The Haven. Maxine was brilliant from start to finish and responded to any questions we had almost immediately. The house was spotless and really tastefully decorated making it an extremely enjoyable place to stay. Everything had been thought of- the kitchen was so well equipped, there were games/activities available for rainy/quiet days and items provided for our one year old. We didn’t have a dog with us but we could tell that they would be catered for brilliantly too! We have stayed in many different accommodations both in Beadnell itself and surrounding areas and this was easily one of the best places we’ve stayed. We would highly recommend and will definitely be going back again soon. Thank you

Great location, lovely cottage, clean tidy with everything you need.

Couldn't seem to get hot water in the kitchen, but just used the dishwasher instead.

Nice position on good quiet road. Picturesque. Easy to visit pub for meals. Easy to walk to beach. Nice neighbours. Very clean everywhere. Excellently stocked kitchen. Every need thought of. Including dogs. No steps. Enclosed garden with plenty of chairs to sit out. The owner was easy to get hold of.

The beds areNOT good quality and very uncomfortable. Someone had left the grill pan unwashed so didn’t use this. It didn’t have a fan for the hot temperatures. Watch out if you’re scared of birds, there are loads of visiting pigeons!! The side gate is broken.

This is a very comfortable, relaxing holiday home with everything provided for a great holiday. Usually booking accommodation with your dog is a bit of a compromise, if your dog is welcome then the accommodation may be a bit worse for wear. In this case everything is of a high standard, clean and well cared for. I felt very at home and wish I could have stayed longer. I would love to come back.

The location was excellent for tourism. The accommodation was very comfortable and clean.

Gorgeous bungalow that was exceptionally clean and had everything (& more) that we could need for our holiday. Beautiful garden that was fully enclosed so our dog was safe. Perfect location close to fabulous beaches, shops, cafes and pubs - we could not have wanted anything more.
