Location is very good for cafés and restaurants it's also very close to the beach ⛱ 5 minutes walk, the area where the cottage we found very peaceful with a lovely church nearby. The property itself is of a very high standard one of the best I've had the pleasure to stay in.

A real home from home, the property was very comfortable and spacious. A great location for exploring the coastline.

Overall we had a lovely stay, however we had problems with locking the patio doors that led to the rear garden which the host promptly appointed a builder to inspect. They were adjudged to be misaligned which subsequently meant using the front door to access the rear garden. The rear garden required in our opinion some general maintenance as there was moss and debris on the access path that was hazardous being wet and slippery. This resulted in having to walk across the grass which was a bit too long and soggy feet. Several established weeds growing in gutters and delapidated shed was a bit of an eyesore. This was the first holiday cottage in several years where there was no welcome gift/ pack on arrival, I guess we’ve been spoilt in the past. It was only an issue as check in was at 4pm and the only shop in the village closed at 5pm which we missed as we had to wait for the builder. A car drive to the next village to get fresh milk.

Location was fab for exploring Northumberland and also close to beach if you wanted to leave the car parked up.

Fully equipped property with everything you could possibly need. Exceptionally clean & furnished to a high standard. The garden is private, ideal for kids/pets AND it gets the evening sunshine….beautiful. So quiet & peaceful despite being only a 2 minute walk to the beach and 1 minute walk to a fabulous pub, cafe, church. Absolutely perfect stay.

Beautifully and comfortably furnished. Better equipped kitchen than mine! Very peaceful but extremely handy for lovely places to eat , drink and walk the dog. Very clean too.

Beds a bit firm but that may be our preference. Definitely not a complaint though.

Spacious , very clean and tidy. Everything provided for a self catering holiday . Lovely garden .
