Calma Aljezur

1) a localização com uma vista fantástica sobre Aljezur 2) o facto de ser uma casinha típica muito bem renovada e decorada 3) a limpeza do alojamento

1) o estacionamento na zona é complicado e o carro ainda fica a alguma distância, pelo que não é fácil chegar ao alojamento a pé com a bagagem 2) a falta de ar condicionado

The house is very cute and it was a nice stay.

The host was completely unresponsive. I’ve asked a couple times if it was possible to accommodate my luggage transfer, and never received any reply from the host. Only automated emails with check in info. The transfer company tried calling and also got no response. Ended up picking up our luggage from a different hotel and dragging it up the stairs.

The shower needed a small repair. We needed two more coffee capsules over two nights - note there were only two originally full

Charming apartment, very comfortable and lovely design on a fantastic location with a great view. Shops and restaurants on walking distance (10 minutes). Perfect service from our host.

All was perfect.

Great view from the terrace - excellent for a coffee in the morning or a beer in the the evening. Close to the beaches and a quick (although very steep) walk into town. Kitchen was well equipped and bathroom was big and spacious.

A bit difficult to get in and out of (both driving and walking wise). This was fine for us as a couple in our 30s used to driving on small streets and walking on steep hills but may be an issue for individuals with reduced or limited mobility. A bit small if you have large pieces of luggage.

Problem-free check in and check out. Very helpful host. Nicely decorated apartment with great view over Aljezur. Super peaceful surroundings. Almost private street. Well equipped kitchen (there was even a lunchbox to pack some snacks into). Overall great spot with just minutes away from a bakery, restaurants, groceries. Short drive to nearby beaches. Would happily stay there again.

Tricky access, especially for drivers unaccustomed to steep, winding, narrow roads. Barbeque and outdoor sitting area wasn’t ready to use without some more effort. Dripping faucet in the shower.
