Peaceful, rural and beautiful. a 5 minute drive to nearest shop , pub. A great escape to the country without being isolated

Super cosy shepherds hut - beautifully furnished and decorated. Equipped with everything I needed. Very peaceful and it was lovely to wake to a neighing horse one morning.

It was quiet, private, lovely view of a horse paddock and trees. It made life feel simple but there was everything that was needed just there in the hut.

It was an amazing experience staying here. Beautiful surroundings, the Shepherd's Hut was lovely! A lot of thought has been put into making this an unforgettable stay. Isobel, the landlady, was pleasant and accommodating. Very peaceful and tranquil. Will definitely stay again! Thank you!

Absolutely nothing. It was a dream. Comfy bed, fantastic kitchen, warm and toasty inside. Even the horse in the field opposite me came and said hello!

The location, the peace and quiet, the view and the facilities. We were made very welcome and the hosts were informative and accommodating. The Shepherds Hut is both quaint yet very well equipped. In the summer the outside chairs and table (with equipped fire pit) would provide a perfect environment to end a holiday evening.

It was absolutely lovely. There is a knack to using the shower but it works well. However the kitchen tap should not be turned on while the shower is running.
