Luxury Cave 100m super terraza vistas Alhambra WIFI

A truly unique and stunning property, which made a great base for a romantic get away. It would also work very well for a group or family comfortably sleeping 7, with great facilities for entertaining or simply chilling out. It boasts two terraces with knock out views of the Alhambra and the cave bed rooms are so beautifully cocooning you'd think you were in an upscale spa. The location is nicely away from all the hustle and bustle of the town, set in a lovely residential area, the attractions are a very short and pleasant stroll away. Sole & Daniel were the perfect hosts. We were seriously delayed by our flights on the way in, they kept in touch throughout the day, and they were there to meet us when we eventually arrived. Communication was excellent. They ran us through all the facilities and made some fantastic recommendations of local restaurants and routes for lovely strolls. Our only disappointment was that we'd only booked a two night stay when we could easily have moved in forever.

The views from the cave were unmatched! The hosts were so helpful and gracious. Excellent amenities (fully stocked kitchen, washer/dryer and detergent welcome after a week of travel). As we visited in March, the pellet wood stove heat was a lovely feature we enjoyed.

The views were incredible and it was a very unique place to enjoy Granada. My family and I all enjoyed our stay!

Fantastic views, beautifully presented and felt like home. I loved the experience of staying in a cave house!!!

The challenge to climb up to this point was well worth it once we had arrived, but it required a little perseverance the first time.

unique and special family experience staying in Sacromonte in a cave with modern furnishings. the beds were very comfortable and bedding was very nice. The best part is the terrace. it was so amazing to sit out and enjoy the view of the Alhambra- it’s magical. one night we ate dinner on our terrace- wine, bread, cheese, salad and enjoyed that wonderful view!

as others have said, it’s a hike with luggage to the house. we knew to expect this from reviews. I was traveling with husband and 2 grown sons so that helped.

The property is fantastically beautiful and sort of magical. As someone who hasn’t previously lived in a cave, it’s exactly as expected except beautifully and brightly lit, warm and cozy, spotlessly clean, and delightfully spacious. At 6’6”, I worried about hitting my head on rock-hard ceilings — not an issue here; the ceilings are about 14’ and the doorways (except one) are close to 8’ tall! Laundry and dishwasher were great! The best thing, though, is the view — there’s a stairway that leads to a room above the cave with a balcony that is truly unbelievable. I sat on it every day, and was filled with awe and gratitude. It’s that good.

The cave house has some strange things about it that seem like they should be easy to fix: * Internet access is quite slow even in the best locations, and there was no WiFi at all from the bed in the main bedroom. * There is a door between the main room and the main-bedroom suite, but in order to close it, you have to push up some cabinet doors that were hanging down, and even then the door scrapes along the bottom of the cabinet. * The dishes and glassware are great, but the kitchen tools were few, cheap, and not really useful. * The hot water for showers is flaky-at-best — one day we had no hot water in the main bedroom suite, and were able to get one shower from the upstairs shower, but could not get a second one. We messaged the hosts, but got no useful help. Fortunately, there are three showers so it worked out. I wanted so much to give this property a 10 because the beauty of the place is like a 15 — truly off the charts. But these little annoyances added up and did detract from the experience. That said, no regrets: this stands out as one of the coolest places I’ve ever stayed.
