Rose Titanic Belfast holiday home

Ce lieu est fantastique, extraordinaire, surprenant, magique. Nous avons tout adoré dans cette maison atypique qui nous a fait voyager à bord du Titanic. Son hôte très réactif lors des échanges par message, nous a également merveilleusement accueilli. Il nous a expliqué l'histoire et l'origine de ce beau projet. Il a su nous transmettre sa passion. La maison est très bien équipée et très propre. Nous avons passé un excellent séjour et nous y reviendrons les yeux fermés. Nous vous le recommandons très vivement. Un grand bravo !!!

Loved everything

Absolutely loved everything about this property! An absolutely incredible immersive experience throughout our stay. Great location & our host provided lots of maps & information which was a great help.

David met us at the property to give us the keys, and was extremely generous with his time. He walked us through "Rose Titanic Belfast" and introduced us to the magic of his titanic experience. He gave us tonnes of information about local facilities, amenities, attractions, and recommendations. The personal touch really enriched our stay and got us into the spirit of this wonderfully unique house! Our young children were absolutely swept up in the nostalgia and fun, and it was a top memory of their trip to Belfast. Highly recommend this home for anyone who wants something a little bit different from the 'beige options' in the market, while also having home comforts and a central location 😀 thanks again David, really lovely to have met you.

We wanted to love it—we’re not huge Titanic fans or anything but thought this would be a fun, kitschy headquarters for our time in Belfast. Unfortunately the kitsch wasn’t backed up by clean, quality accommodations. We were greeted by the host at 7pm on-property after a long day of travel, and though his tour of the house and his creative inspiration was passionate, it was also quite long (30+ minutes) and unnecessary. If we’d been asked by message whether we wanted a live tour through the house’s story, we’d have politely declined (and maybe read about it if there was a printed information sheet on the property). And full transparency, sleeping in a room full of painted people staring at you loses its novelty very quickly. Beyond that, we felt the linens were old and scratchy, the mats and towels threadbare, and the home just wasn’t all that clean (there was a layer of dust on the back of the couch, for example). The location was also not very walkable—there’s really nothing within a ten-minute walk of the property aside from other homes. I should have researched the location better though, so that’s on me. The bottom line is this: The place caught my eye because of the fun painting and details, but I booked it because of the high score and good reviews. Our experience didn’t match up to what I saw, so I wanted to provide a thorough review.
