A great location in the centre of the village. Very close to the shop and the pub where we had excellent evening meals.

"Poor experience"

2.0

Shower had reasonable pressure

It was not clean, there were lots of spider webs and spiders throughout the house, there was a horrible musty damp smell in the porch, and downstairs area, which made it difficult to breathe. Which made the experience terrible as we have 2 asthmatics in the family and a member with arachnophobia. We spent over an hour cleaning the house ourselves, after a 4.5 hour drive. Just to make the area suitable to sleep.

"Beautiful"

10.0

I loved the cozy and welcoming atmosphere of the holiday home. The attention to detail in the décor made it feel like a true home away from home. The location was perfect, offering both peace and quiet, yet close enough to all the local attractions. The amenities were top-notch, and the views from the property were simply stunning. It was the perfect place to relax and unwind.

"Great for families, although not as sparkling as expected"

8.0

We enjoyed almost two weeks at Llys Y Coed. We loved the location, the village, the comfy beds, the ample parking, the fantastic supply of toys, books and furniture for our 10 month old son. There were facilities for changing, a highchair, cot and space for our own baby kit. The house is large with one double, one twin and one single room. There also seems to be a fold out single bed we didn't use. We really appreciated the separate clothes washing facilities in the utility room and the access to the vacuum cleaner - babies are messy! The house also came with instant tea and coffee making kit, as well as a jar of ground coffee which was a real highlight for me!

As we spent a significant amount of time here we may have noticed things which wouldn't be important or even noticeable on a weekend or short stay, however we hope the following will be useful to the owners. We were slightly disappointed with the kitchen which needs a re-inventory after many years as a holiday let. There were no oven gloves, washing up gloves, or grill pan, which may not be noticed on shorter term lets but were missed by us. There were no half pint or pint glasses for drinks, although there were plenty of wine glasses. The oven needed to be turned on and off at the wall as the smaller oven could not be controlled by the dials and seemed to be on max heat as soon as the oven was turned on at the wall. There was a bit of mildew around the bathroom and utility room which we cleaned up. The utility room would massively benefit from a tumble dryer as it is a slightly damp room (which is normal for utilities). The showerhead in the bathroom also needed a clean due to mildew build up. We have no problem with spiders but there were a lot of cobwebs in corners, more than expected, so a focus on this for future cleaning would help.
