Giovanni was easy to talk to and always responded quickly. Although he doesn't speak English and we don't speak Italian we managed well 😀 other than the shower which needs a mould free cubicle the Appartment was clean and well looked after. Second floor and there was a lift so all the comfort needed. Well located so city centre was walkable distance but at the same.time it was quiet enough to get a good night's rest. We received breakfast vouchers for a café close by which was very kind ❤️ Giovanni has many suggestions on where to go and eat, it pays off to follow his advice 😀 although there is no parking with the Appartment we always found free parking in the vicinity (less than 5min walk), there is a garage on the street you can use for convenience but it's 18 euros a day.

We didn't stay in the apartment we booked which meant we had a bed less but a cot instead -in our case of a co-sleeping toddler that meant it was a squeeze.they couldn't know but they also didn't ask. We didn't have the outdoor space or terrace but we had a much more modern and better equipped kitchen.

We came to Sicily by ferry with our car. Giovanni's apartment was super convenient as it is just a few minutes from the Palermo ferry terminal. Next door there is a garage where the car can be parked safely for 20€ per day. Giovanni helped us to book the parking spot and met us there. The apartment was clean and fully equipped with more than just essentials (black-out blinds, washing machine, laundry detergent, coffee, fruits in the fridge...). He also invited us to a cappuccino and a cornetto in a nearby café and had some tipps for dinner. The apartment is only a short walk away from the city centre with its attractions.
