EGThe house is very comfortable, and the kitchen is very well equipped. The beds are comfortable. The house is well-lit, with easy to access plugs and a number of lamps. The location is very convenient.
GBA lovely warm, clean, high quality cottage throughout. A very well equipped kitchen (crockery, cutlery, pots, pans, serving bowls and utensils etc), with a good sized fridge/freezer, dishwasher, washer/dryer, microwave, toaster, kettle, 'nespresso style' coffee maker, oven & hob and plenty of cupboard space for purchased food. The open plan layout downstairs created plenty of room for 4 people to eat at the dining room table or relax on one of the 3 x 2-seater sofas in front of the fire and TV. Upstairs the bedrooms had everything we needed, with comfy beds and plenty of cupboard / drawer space for clothes, and hairdryers in both bedrooms. The bathroom was modern with a powerful over the bath shower and always plenty of hot water. A small enclosed outdoor space and wooden / tiled floors downstairs (instead of carpets) made it suitable for dogs. Together with a door to close off the kitchen and a gate at the bottom of the stairs to prevent them going upstairs. Great location. Quiet street which we had no problem parking on outside or very close to the house. Only a 5-10 walk from the shops and pubs in the centre of Keswick, and only 5 mins from the lovely Fitz park for the dogs' morning and evening walks.
GBHouse was beautiful. Lovely and warm up on arrival. Had everything you could need. Comfy beds. Lots of books DVDs and games.
Nothing major Parking. Street was full had to park In the side street to unpack then parked further up the street. Very creaky floor boards upstairs. Only tv in 1 bedroom (little boy was happy with this)
GBGreat location - 5-10 mins leisurely stroll from centre of Keswick. Well equipped house full of home comforts, lots of thought has obviously gone into the property, with loads of lovely touches. Would recommend and would visit again for sure.
We didn’t find the beds massively comfortable although they are not awful by any means and probably because we are used to specific mattresses at home. An outdoor tap would have been great to wash mucky paws before entry and an outside light for the rear/side of the house would be useful.
