Villa Argentosa

Το σπίτι ήταν όμορφο με ένα τελειο μπαλκόνι με καταπληκτική θέα! Επίσης είχε ο.τι χρειαζοσουν κουζίνα πλήρως εξοπλισμένη κτλ.

Αν και δίπλα στο χωριό, η πρόσβαση ήταν λίγο δύσκολη λόγω της μεγάλης και απότομης ανηφορας.

Για κάποιους που δυσκολεύονται στο περπάτημα είναι 10 λεπτά από το χωριό.

Alles tip top! Super ausgestattet und bequeme Betten - leider etwas schwer zu erreichen, da die Straße zu schmal ist für einen drop off mit dem Auto (steil bergauf). Sehr nette Gastgeber, super hilfsbereit - jederzeit gerne wieder - man sollte aber mobil und gut zu Fuß sein.

Sehr stark am Hang gelegen, etwas schwierig zu erreichen, würden aber jederzeit wieder kommen.

Die Lage ist top (allerdings auf einer Anhöhe) mit einer Mega Aussicht auf Kimolos und z.T. auch die umliegenden Inseln. Sonnenaufgang inclusive. Vermieter war nicht vor Ort aber stets zeitnah erreichbar, ermöglichte uns einen früheren Check-in und organisierte auch das Taxi vom Hafen bis zur Unterkunft. Wandertouren sind quasi ab Haus in verschiedene Richtungen möglich.

Die Küche/Küchenausstattung war im Vergleich zum Rest des Hauses schon etwas in die Jahre gekommen, aber wir konnten auch so alles gut bewerkstelligen.

Δεν ήταν πολύ εύκολη η πρόσβαση με το αυτοκίνητο.

Excellent location just a little bit outside of Chora and very close to Meltemi restaurant (worth visiting it). It is a great secluded location with the best view in the island! The host was very polite and helpful. The place was clean and very very cozy. We loved it! Thank you for the bottle of nice white wine.

We absolutely loved Villa Argentosa and would definitely consider staying there again. The accommodation was spotlessly clean and very comfortable with good quality bedding, fixtures & fittings and very well equipped! The bathroom was excellent with plenty of hot water and good quality towels. But the highlight was the location above the main village which afforded spectacular views and a lovely spacious balcony to enjoy them. Kimolos is a charming but quiet little island giving true lovers of Greece a place to escape the madness of the world and to switch off.

Although we loved our stay and would repeat that we would consider staying there again, we feel any visitors to Villa Argentosa need to be aware of two features before booking: 1) the last 300m of lane access to the property is very narrow in parts and relatively steep. It is only accessible using the very smallest category of hire car as several 'pinch points' literally only provide 30cm on each side of the car to pass between the Cycladic stone walls. Combined with a road surface which has been deteriorated by what we would guess to be the burying of water pipes, only experienced and confident drivers would be comfortable taking a car and luggage to the property. 2) Within the property, there are three steps from the lounge to the double bedroom and an additional step from the double bedroom to the bathroom which are unusually abrupt. Anyone with mobility issues may well find these difficult especially if getting up in the night. (The spacious twin bedroom is on the same level as the lounge but still requires tackling the four steps to the bathroom).
