Lochsie Cottage

A fabulous cottage just outside Portree in a lovely location with easy access the whole island. It is so cosy and comfortable with a huge bathroom with a lovely big bath and a great shower. The bed and sofas were so comfy. A real home from home with everything you need.

The property was excellent, clean and great value.

Nothing to dislike

We didn’t end up here, but what we saw of the property was absolutely amazing & perfect. The other property we stayed at was absolutely amazing, comfortable, clean & well care for.

There was nothing that we didn’t like.

Very high spec, well equipped, clean cottage. The bed was very comfortable, as was the settee. The shower was very good, hot, and powerful. It is good to be able to control the heating for when we needed it. The cottage was warm and cosy. In a great location for exploring Skye.

The pot holes on the approach to the cottage were very bad. A smart TV would have been nice.

We had a fantastic stay here, so happy we booked this place. The house itself, the stay, the help from the hosts, it was all wonderful! They even informed us about an upcoming power-shortage. Really a great place!

The only thing what they need to improve, is the road leading to the house, these 30 or 50 meters are really bad and not good for the car.

Fantastic accommodation, well equipped, brilliant setting with all the privacy we wanted.

Nothing to do with the accommodation but it was a little further out than we anticipated. We travelled daily by car for dinner and evenings out, so not a massive inconvenience.

Location, very quiet.
