Crepigill Cottage

The location was 5 miles from Portree and was very quiet and rural. The cottage was very small but warm and cosy and everything catered for would stay there again.

perhaps a couple of recliner chairs instead of the one two seater couch. could be very tight in the bedroom for anyone a bit large.

A beautiful old cottage, lovingly furnished with many beautiful details. Good location: only 5 miles from Portree. Lots of very useful information about the island provided by the owners. A nice little garden - everything you need for a relaxing holiday.

You can really tell that lots of love has flown into every nook and cranny of this little cottage. It is welcoming and homely right from the start, and you can find everything you need: The kitchen has clearly been equiped by someone who is actually using it as well. First of all, even though the kitchen is very small, it is furnished incredibly efficient. This also means that there is room for a surprising amount of things: There is basically *every* kitchen utensil you might need. This starts with some basics that everyone has in their kitchen, but are so often forgotten in rental apartment kitchens (like e.g. a pair of scissors). Apart from that, there are also more specialized items available, like e.g. a masher, a potato peeler, a garlic press, a measuring jug, and even some kitchen scales. As if that was not enough, there is even a washing machine in the kitchen - excellent for longer trips. In the garden, you can find a clothes dryer for hanging up your wet clothes afterwards. The living room and the bedroom are also quite small. Still, the available space has been used very efficiently again. Thanks to that, you can even find quite a few books, games, and puzzles in the living room. I did not use those, as I was lucky enough to have lots of sunny days, but it is nice to have them available for rainy days. Finally, the bed is really comfortable, and I always had a good night's sleep. As it is a rather narrow double bed (probably Queen size) with one shared duvet, though, it is probably better suited to couples than friends travelling together, I guess.

If you are tall, you should know that some of the door frames (specifically the one to the bedroom, and the one to the living room) are only approximately 1,80 metres high. Also, learning how to store your personal things as efficiently as the owner has furnished the rest of the cottage can be tough. ;-)

Very cosy cottage with a lovely garden. Well stocked kitchen and a lot of information about the area is provided by the hosts.

It was absolutely perfect. The cottage is cute and cozy with beautiful landscape around. The short walk to St Columbia's island is enchanting. We felt at home and were sad to leave. Perfect location to visit the isle and a few min away from Portree and grocery store.

It is a nice cozy small cottage. We had everything what we needed and even more. All cutlery and linen was provided. As well in the cottage are many books, board games and CDs in a case if you want to spend a day inside. The location is perfect - if was about 30 min for us to get to all our destinations.

Only issue for us were low doorframes. We are quite tall and we had to remember to duck, otherwise we would hit the head. But it is not the problem of the property.
