The owner of the apartment was one of the nicest people we met in Italy. Mutual communication was extremely pleasant and easy. He even allowed us to arrive before check-in time so we could leave our belongings. Cool water was waiting for us in the fridge - a big bonus. Although the owner did not speak English, we still got along and the communication was very nice. Each room had its own air conditioner. The bathroom is equipped with a powerful extractor. The apartment was in an ideal location, as the center was only 7 minutes away. You could always find a parking space on the street. Everything you need to cook in the kitchen! Overall it was a great experience and I recommend it to others!

It would have been nice to have more toiletries and shampoo in the bathroom, but we bought them and left them for future guests.

Noisy. Strong smell of fish in the apartment when I arrived. Bad smell lasted at least two days. Tons of bugs during the night. Had to hide my face under the blankets. Enough toilet paper for one day only even though I was staying there for three days. Owner asked me to go buy some myself…

What a wonderful stay I had at Zazzamita House! It is centrally located, just a short walk to the sites. The space is very clean and has everything you need for a comfortable stay. Noemie and Daniela provided very nice selections for breakfast, and I felt very welcomed. I would love to come back the next time I go to Catania. Noemie was so sweet to have driven me to the bus stop for the next leg of my trip and was so helpful. Their recommendation for an excursion to Mt. Etna was great, too (with Red Etna). Grazie mille!!

There are 2 air-conditioners, the shower works properly. Affordable option for Catania. Friendly owner, who is very helpful.

The house is renovated, but it is very humid inside. If to keep the windows closed, there is bad smell inside (probably caused by humidity). The towels and beddings are very old, no separate blanket, just the cover for bed. The breakfast were poor.

I liked the size of the accommodation as it was a one bedroom apartment, as well as having a normal fridge with a freeze box. Great place to just relax after a long day out exploring. Great layout, easy access. Fast and stable internet. Contact with host was easy and effortless, and I was welcomed warmly. Nice touch with the wine upon welcome, but didn't enjoy it being a non-alcoholic. The treat was on the other hand delicious.

Breakfast a little short and simple, I needed to get my own breakfast from morning 2 and onwards. Plus for eggs in the fridge. Location a bit far from train and bus station as I used the accommodation as a base for exploring east Sicily. This I was somewhat aware of in advance, but it turned out to be a bit further than expected. Add 25-30% distance on what it states on Booking.com. One set of thin towels for five nights a bit under standard. Bright bedroom at night due to alley lights outside and thin rolling blinds a few inches out from the wall.
