Ruffles Cottage Dunster

Parking was difficult. Not much you can do about that but you CAN be honest and forewarn guests that it can be problematic and that - if all else fails - there is a public pay carpark as you enter the village some way from the property.

Cottage had everything you need. Good location with lots of local walks.

Cottage was very cold when we arrived. It would have been nice if the heating had been put on to warm the house through. Only one log for the log burner, (and nowhere in the village to buy some), which is ok but if we knew that before arriving we would have taken some. Cottage is comfortable but could do with a little updating, such as a shower screen and more comfortable sofa.

Excellent location close to village centre and castle. Very well stocked with kitchen utensils. Living room is nice and cosy. Loads of walks from the doorstep.

Perhaps a more modern TV that can link to a laptop wirelessly to get TV channels more easily.

LOCATION WAS EXCELLENT. THE COTTAGE WAS SPOTLESS AND THE FACILITIES WERE GREAT.

THE SOFA AND CHAIRS WERE QUITE UNCOMFORTABLE. ALSO THE PARKING WAS A BIT OF A CHALLENGE
